  4. To )STOCK' an item into inventory click on the #CREATE' button.
  5. To <FIND' a certain item in inventory click on the #SEARCH' button.

  7. To update or change product )STOCK, PRICE,' or )VENDOR' information
  8. click on the #EDIT' button.

  10. To :REMOVE' a product from inventory click on the #FILE' button.^

  12.                   :CREATE <a :PRODUCT <and :STOCK IT'

  14. Type in the )PRODUCT' information above. Type in the product name
  15. :EXACTLY' the same as it will be entered on the #INVOICE.'

  17. The automatic #PRICE FINDER' requires this to operate. Type in
  18. dollars and cents =EXAMPLE  *12.00' not *12'
  19.  
  20. If you make an error use the #BACKSPACE' key to correct it.^

  22.                        :SEARCH <for a :PRODUCT'
  23.  
  24. Type in the #PRODUCT NAME' you wish to #SEARCH' for. When at the 
  25. product press the =ESC' key to mark it for :EDITING <or :REMOVAL.'

  27. You must type the name =EXACTLY' the same as when you created it.
  28.  
  29. To see :ALL' the products one after another, press the #ENTER' key 
  30. with no "SEARCH NAME.^

  32.                           :EDIT <a :PRODUCT'

  34. Change the #PRODUCT INFORMATION' by using the :BACKSPACE' key. To
  35. skip over lines press the "ENTER <or "ESC' key.

  37. You may add )STOCK', change a )PRICE' or the )PRODUCT.' Or update the 
  38. :VENDOR' information that you buy from.^

  40.                     :REMOVE <a :PRODUCT <from :FILE'

  42. This will =REMOVE' the product named above from #STOCK' Including the 
  43. #VENDOR' name, the :ADDRESS' and the "PHONE' number.^

  45.                        :SEARCH <for a :INVOICE'

  47. Type in the #CUSTOMER NAME' you wish to #SEARCH' for. When at the 
  48. invoice press the =ESC' key to mark it for :EDITING <or :REMOVAL.'

  50. Type the name =EXACTLY' the same as on the :INVOICE.' To see =ALL' 
  51. the invoices, press the #ENTER' key with no #SEARCH NAME.'

  53. To see =ALL' the invoices that start with. *Joe' type in *Joe^

  55.                    :VENDOR <and :ADDRESS <and :PHONE'

  57. Type in your #COMPANY NAME' or #YOUR NAME.' Type in your "ADDRESS'
  58. and "PHONE' number.

  61. also :EDIT' the :VENDOR' information with this command.

  65.                :CONFIGURATION <and :SALES TAX PERCENT'

  67. If you use the #LAB/SHIP' for #SHIPPING' you may put that value here. 
  68. You can also "CHANGE' it on the invoice at any time.

  70. Type in the #SALES TAX' percent for your State. Use the <BACKSPACE' 
  71. key to erase the defult. Enter the tax =EXAMPLE  +5.00' not +5'

  73. For a :EPSON' printer. And to zero the #INVOICE' count or set it.^`0

  75.                   :VERALITE INFORMATION <and :HELP'

  77. The #HELP' section in this program is =AUTOMATIC.' It will help you
  78. as you operate the commands to understand the program operation.

  80. Its very simple to operate just "CLICK <on a "BUTTON' and follow the 
  81. on screen #INSTRUCTIONS' while typing in the information.@

  84. You need to enter your "COMPANY <or "YOUR' name under =OPTION' vendor 
  85. information :BEFORE' you do your first #INVOICE.'

  87. This program does full "INVENTORY <and "STOCK' maintainance as you 
  88. do invoices. When you void an invoice the items are restocked.@

  91. When you run "OUT <of "STOCK' you are told. An "INVOICE <is "VOID' with
  92. an :OUT <of :STOCK' item on it.

  94. Press #ENTER' at the "OUT <of "STOCK' message to =RECREATE' the invoice
  95. without having to type in the customer name again.@

  98. The price "LIMIT <on the invoice "PER ITEM' is +9999.99' dollars. Always
  99. enter the dollars and cents. =EXAMPLE ;12.00' not ;12'

  101. If you entered product names into the #PRODUCT MANAGER' the price
  102. finder will be enabled. Type their names on the invoice and 
  103. :VERALITE' will look up the price for you.@
  104.                         :VERALITE <plus :HELP'
  105.  
  106. The #PRICE FINDER' is fun to use and is #AUTOMATIC.' When you stock 
  107. a product into inventory and make out an invoice, type the name
  108. on the invoice the "SAME <as "YOU' did when you "STOCKED <the "PRODUCT.'
  109.  
  110. This includes =CAPITALS' and =SPACES.@
  111.                         :VERALITE <plus :HELP'
  112.  
  113. :THIS MAY' run slow from #WINDOWS' if it does, you can run windows
  114. from the =OPTION' menu. Its runs fast on my machine. Veralite has to
  115. be installed on the :SAME DRIVE' as windows for "OPTION <to "WORK.' 
  116.  
  117. This program "LOVES <a "DRIVE' cashe, smart drive will do. I tested
  118. it with over 1,000 invoices and products on a 83 MHZ pentium 486
  119. board and a 4030 VL drive card cashe. The performance was fast.@
